Our most recent annual Promo Seeds congress was held in June 2011. Each year, members meet to update each other on our activities around Europe, analyse the market and discuss new product ideas.

In 2011 it was the UK’s turn to host the congress, with three days in the lush East Sussex countryside, near Buzzy Seeds UK’s home in Bodiam.

Updates show that Promo Seeds’ range continues to fulfil a popular requirement for green promotional products. Members highlighted a significant increase in low-volume short orders, a signal of market caution but also of Promo Seeds’ flexibility in meeting current demands.

Ideas were discussed for a new product range to be made available across all countries Promo Seeds serves – this is now in development.

As always, the congress was an opportunity for friends to get together and share good times as well as business ideas and we look forward to the next congress in Holland in 2012.

The annual Promo Seeds congress was last held in June 2008. Each year, the group meets to analyse market conditions in Europe, exchange experiences, evaluate new product ideas and establish development proposals for the forthcoming season. This year the responsibility fell to the French team to organise the meeting. They chose to host us in Nice, in the heart of the French Riviera. Alongside the very valuable business meetings we were also able to discover parts of the region beneath the beautiful Mediterranean sun.

During the meeting, we discussed our position as market leader in green promotions. With a turnover of more than 5.5 million Euros in 2007-2008 this represented a significant increase on the previous year.

The group also completed some analysis of the latest market trends and it is clear that companies are shifting towards green products and campaigns with a positive environmental impact, precisely the type and style satisfied by the Promo Seeds product range. Paying attention to this trend we discussed several important case studies, new products and development ideas for the entire group to share and include in their domestic brochures.

Promo Seeds is a unique business and plans to develop their marketing strategy based on the strength of their activity as a group throughout Europe.

After a number of years absence, the International Promo Seeds group exhibited at the PSI Messe in January 2008, Europe’s largest exhibition for Promotions & Gifts industry.  It is now more important than ever for companies to associate themselves, their products and services and their promotional activity with a green profile and environmentally sound approach. The large number of visitors to the stand and overwhelming interest in their green gifts means that Promo Seeds will be presenting their extensive range of promotional solutions at the PSI Messe in Düsseldorf in 2009. This year they will show the latest developments from their increasing range of green and eco friendly gifts. Promo Seeds member companies operate throughout Europe and with their own design and production departments, customers are able to select from a wide range of standard items or have bespoke gifts produced to their desired specification and budget. To welcome and assist as many of their existing and prospective customers as possible, the Promo Seeds team will have a number of representatives on their stand speaking as many as 8 different languages.
